AL teaches that "Only what the learner creates is learned." Of course, you still have to provide the framework for that.  I've been trying to incoporate this into my training projects and man oh man do I wish I had known about during my time at the Foundation.  I actually found it very freeing--b/c if you think about it--if you do it right it makes your job SO much easier. Here's the website for the AL Center: http://www.alcenter.com/alindex.html.
